Quiet, with a side order of sinuses

Overall, the weekend was not bad for me - but Laura's head might disagree. She wasn't feeling great on Friday night, so after we wrapped up season 8 of Stargate we went to bed. Saturday she woke up with sinus pain and other warnings of a sinus infection. She spent most of the weekend reclined while I ran errands and generally did quiet things so that she could sleep. Things of that nature include: Finished season one of Veronica Mars and started season two, as well as House of Bones and the End of Time Part Two, bought and assembled more bookcases for Ben's room (so that his books don't have to live in boxes) and a new media rack for the living room (which fits against the wall, so the old one isn't blocking other furniture), purchased groceries, did laundry, cleaned the porch, killed zombies, washed dishes, and other various sundries. And took care of my wife when she needed it.

We spent her birthday quietly as well, since neither of us had to work. Pretty much more of the same, except that we spent the evening breaking into Stargate season nine. And we confirmed with Ben that we're still ahead of him, though only just.

Tonight is Curia. Tomorrow night I ought to finish my new leg armor (or at least work on it), because Thursday night is fighter's practice. Friday we'll probably rest, and Saturday is Flesh Wound. Sunday will be more resting. And then it's a new week.
