One of the SCA folks in our area has chosen to take up the habit and enter a Dominican convent. As a result, she is disposing of the bulk of her worldly possessions - furniture, clothes, books, and so on. From time to time she posts something on our local email list to offer things to those who can pick them up. And yesterday she offered some bookcases.
Never one to turn down bookcases, I picked them up after work last night and put them in Ben's room. And decided that, at least for now, we have enough bookcases. In fact, I'm not sure precisely where these will go. I know we have enough books to fill them, we just have to decide what wall space will become shelf space. I could certainly put things in the basement, but ... I think I'll wait a little while on that.
After my furniture jaunt Laura and I watched some Stargate. And it was nice.
No plans tonight or tomorrow night. I might move some furniture around. Huzzah!
