Slack

Friday night was peaceful. We watched a few episodes of SGA and went to bed at a decent hour. Saturday was my day for running around - I spent the morning rearranging Ben's room (to incorporate all of the bookshelves) and then working, and spent the afternoon doing errands, including misplacing my phone at the hardware store. (A staff member found it, asked his three managers what to do with it, got three different answers, and went home at the end of his shift with it still in his pocket. The managers couldn't track it down in the store so they called the staff member, who brought it back to the store.) We watched more tv that night.

Sunday I had meant to work on my sekrit project, but my prep work on Saturday indicated that it would be tougher than I had initially thought. Instead I did a bunch of cleaning and general maintenance around the house while Laura and Jenny went to a baby shower in Madison. I finally put away the contents of what I believe to be the last box from Thunder Bay, disposing of the box (rather, adding it to the pile in the garage). I shuffled some more furniture. I hung mug hooks in the kitchen. I cleaned things that were dirty. I changed all the litter. I did the laundry. I ... did other things that I can't think of or seem too trivial to mention, but needed doing. When Laura got home she had work to do, and I gave her a hand; bed was at our normal time. The next three weekends will be eventing, so it was nice to slack a little.

Tonight is D&D and, I believe, helmet padding. Thursday is fighting. That's the extent of the plans. So now, off to coffee.
